Connects your WordPress site to the Orgalytics dashboard - Google Search Console verification, sitemap reporting and search reports in one place.

== Description ==

Orgalytics - Search Console AI Insights connects your WordPress site to the hosted Orgalytics dashboard. The plugin handles the WordPress side of the integration; the dashboard handles the Google Search Console side.

What the plugin does on your site:

* One-click site registration with the Orgalytics dashboard
* Automatic Google Search Console site verification - the meta tag is placed in your site head for you
* Sitemap detection - your sitemap URL is reported to the dashboard
* Content pings - when you publish or update a public post, the dashboard is notified
* A status overview of the connection in your admin

What the hosted Orgalytics dashboard provides:

* Google account sign-in and Search Console property selection
* Search performance reports - clicks, queries, pages and positions
* AI insights and recommended actions based on your Search Console data
* The setup wizard that issues the verification token

The reports and insights run on the hosted dashboard, not inside WordPress. The dashboard has a free Starter plan and paid plans - see https://orgalytics.ai/ for current pricing. Orgalytics is built by MakkPress Apps and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.

== External Services ==

This plugin connects to the hosted Orgalytics dashboard, operated by MakkPress Technologies (product site: https://orgalytics.ai/, service endpoint: https://makkpressapps.com/wordpress/googlesearchconsole/).

* Site registration - when an administrator visits wp-admin after activation (or presses "Register this site"), the plugin sends your site URL, WordPress version, plugin version and the site's admin email to create this site's instance on the dashboard.
* Instance sync - roughly hourly while an administrator is logged in, and on demand when the dashboard triggers it, the plugin sends the instance ID, its secret pair and your detected sitemap URL (https://example.com/wp-sitemap.xml), and receives the verification token and connection status back.
* Content pings - when a public post is published or updated, its permalink is sent to the dashboard.
* On the front end, the plugin adds nothing except the google-site-verification meta tag once Google verification is set up on the dashboard.

An account for your site is created automatically when the site registers. Signing in with your Google account on the dashboard is required to pull Search Console reports. Terms of service: https://orgalytics.ai/terms-and-conditions - Privacy policy: https://orgalytics.ai/privacy-policy

== Installation ==

1. Upload the plugin folder to /wp-content/plugins/ (or install the zip).
2. Activate the plugin.
3. Open Orgalytics - Search Console AI Insights from the admin sidebar and press Connect to Dashboard.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Does this plugin need a separate account? =

An instance for your site is created on the Orgalytics dashboard automatically when the site registers. To see reports, sign in to the dashboard with the Google account that owns your Search Console property.

= Where do the reports and AI insights come from? =

The Orgalytics dashboard pulls your Search Console data through the Google connection you make on the dashboard. The plugin itself does not store Search Console data in your WordPress database.

= Does the plugin change my site's front end? =

Only one thing: the google-site-verification meta tag in the page head, once Google verification is set up on the dashboard. If Yoast, RankMath or All in One SEO is active, the plugin leaves the head alone entirely.

= What happens to my data if I delete the plugin? =

Deleting the plugin removes its WordPress data (registration, cached dashboard meta, ping queue). The site's history on the Orgalytics dashboard is kept, so reinstalling and re-registering the same site reconnects to the same instance.
